Please mark your calendars for Wendell Foster’s “Quarterly Connection” on Wednesday, October 25th at 8:30am. Quarterly Connection is Wendell Foster’s quarterly networking event, where a guest speaker will share their role in the community.

We’re excited to share that Dr. Jeremiah Mason, DO, FAAP from Owensboro Pediatrics will be our guest speaker. He will speak on Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities.

Please come join us for a great networking event with donuts and coffee. If you personally can’t make it, please feel free to send someone in your place. We will meet in the *Wendell Foster Boardroom* at 8:30am and the event should last about one hour. We hope you can attend!

Life After Graduation

Participants will review what services and supports are available after graduating high school. What changes may occur in the 4 major sectors of a person's life – medical, educational (college/vocational training opportunities), employment (supports available), and residential (types available). Guardianship will be discussed and resources specific to Daviess County will be available. Information is applicable to people with a variety of disabilities.

Presenter: Heidi Cooley-Cook, Family Field Training Coordinator, Kentucky Autism Training Center

Target Audience: Families, case managers, educators, school counselors, Family Resource Youth Service Center Directors, etc. Open to everyone!
Participants will review what services and supports are available after graduating high school.
