Occupational Therapist

Alex Phelps, a native of Owensboro, KY, became an occupational therapist in 2020 and began practicing in pediatrics. Alex desired to work at Wendell Foster since her clinical rotation in 2019, and was able to do so in 2022. She has experience working with various ages, diagnoses, and settings. Her passion lies with those with intellectual disabilities, developmental delay, and cerebral palsy. Alex has special interests in sensory processing, self-regulation, and visual motor integration.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Wendell Foster, Alex says, “Wendell Foster is an inclusive campus focused on improving the mind, body, and spirit from every possible perspective. The energy here radiates of hope and endless possibilities so all can live out their potential. It’s truly a blessing.”
