We are celebrating our uniqueness with a groovy tie-dye party! Each person with a disability (all ages) and his or her siblings (under 18 that are living in the home) will be provided a T-shirt and create their own tie-dye shirt. Additional family members can also participate but are asked to bring their own shirt. The event will be facilitated by Brian Murphy, an art teacher at Sorgho Elementary School. With 18 years of public teaching experience, he is a community advocate for arts inclusion for all ages, skills and abilities. Mr. Murphy enjoys participating in Wendell Foster and GRADSA events with his awesome stepson, Elliott Williams.
Pizza and refreshments will be provided. RSVPs are required in order for us to purchase enough supplies.
Please email Cindy Huston at [email protected] with shirt sizes by February 25.
