 Tim Allen

Tim is an entrepreneur, business consultant and 1987 graduate of Western Kentucky University with degrees in Chemistry and Biology.
 
He founded EnerCon Energy Consulting, which became the largest independently owned, municipal natural gas supply and management company in the country, and is currently a consultant to a number of national startups in industries ranging from insurance, video analytics, weapon detection, AI and neural network processing,
 
Tim lives in Owensboro, Kentucky with his wife Kara, who is a school psychologist and special education consultant, and their four children: Merrie Katherine, Julianna, Lilah and Isaac.

 

 

Doug Hoyt Doug Hoyt

Doug is Director of Procurement and Contracts with Kenergy where he’s been employed for 20 years. Prior to Kenergy, Doug worked at GRADD in community and economic development and housing for 13 years.

Born and raised in Conneaut, Ohio, Doug came to Owensboro to attend Kentucky Wesleyan College where he received a B.A. from KWC and his Master Degree from Indiana State University.

Doug is married to Brenda and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Doug currently serves on:

  • Wendell Foster Resource Development Committee
  • Wendell Foster Public Policy Committee
  • Daviess County Republican Party Executive Committee
  • First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Deacon & Treasurer Elect

He is a graduate of Leadership Owensboro (2005) and Leadership Kentucky (2002).

 

 

Gary Latham Gary Latham

Gary has been elected Chairperson of WF Residential Government.  He is from Hopkinsville, KY and always has a smile on his face.  He is a man who enjoys socializing and being the life of the party.  He remembers almost everyone he meets.  He enjoys discussing police matters and talking on CB radios.  He is also a graduate of the Owensboro Citizen’s Academy (sponsored by Owensboro Police Department)

 

 

Linda C. Overby, CPA Linda Overby

Linda graduated from Brescia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1992. The same year, she sat for and passed the CPA exam.

Linda. worked in public accounting for 8 years before moving into the non-profit arena as controller at Audubon Area Community Services. In 2005 she became CFO at Wendell Foster and held that position until retirement in 2015.

Linda has been married to Joe Overby for 48 years and they have four children and five grandchildren.

“I am delighted to be working for Wendell Foster again, both as a board member and as an old friend.  Serving individuals with disabilities has been of lifelong importance to me, volunteering at Wendell Foster as a teenager, and being impacted personally later in life with a family member.
