Wendell Foster announced today that it has arranged a search committee for recruiting a Chief Executive Officer. The committee is comprised of eight members of the current board of directors and two past board members. The organization, with nearly 400 employees, began assembling a search committee promptly in hopes to have the position filled by mid summer.
“The Board of Director’s search committee is focused on selecting a new Chief Executive Officer to ensure Wendell Foster’s continued success and to lead us to new heights as a premier healthcare provider,” said Dr. Terry Ward, Wendell Foster Board Chair. Dr. Ward added, “The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who is passionate about people and our mission of service. Our mission is ‘To empower people with disabilities to realize their dreams and potential,’ with a vision ‘To be the premier provider of rehabilitative community-based, and residential services.”
Wendell Foster recently completed a comprehensive strategic plan that will help the new CEO when they accept the role.
