Wendell Foster’s Supports for Community Living (SCL) homes offer a welcoming home environment for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Each home provides 24-hour support for three people in a single-family, three bedroom home.
In our SCL Homes, each person’s strengths, interests, and goals guide the support they receive. With help from caring, person-centered Direct Support Professionals, residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible and stay active in their community.
Our team provides support with everyday tasks such as:
- Grocery shopping and meal planning
- Managing finances
- Attending medical appointments
- Enjoying leisure activities and vacations
- Personal hygiene and self-care
- Household chores
- Volunteering and employment
