Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy provides a range of benefits to individuals with disabilities or functional limitations- including increased mobility and range of motion, pain management, muscle relaxation, emotional regulation, and more. Our Aquatic Center is a one of a kind facility featuring a zero entry, salt water pool with multiple depth platforms and stairs for therapeutic use. 

Seating and Positioning Assessments

Wendell Foster physical therapists work as a team with individuals, caregivers, and a DME provider of choice to evaluate specific needs for seating and positioning equipment. Our Physical therapists are experienced in various seating and positioning options such as wheelchairs, gait trainers, car seats, and more, and work with clients on finding the ideal equipment for them.

Adaptive Equipment & Technology

Wendell Foster has a variety of adaptive equipment and technology to best fit the needs of our clients. This includes manual and power wheelchairs, walkers, gait trainers, standers, adaptive tricycles, and more. We also utilize state-of-the-art technology, such as interactive therapy balls and balance trainers in treatment sessions to help our clients achieve their goals.

Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy

Wendell Foster now offers specialized physical therapy services for children dealing with concerns related to the pelvic floor. Our physical therapist is trained in the assessment and treatment of various bowel and bladder issues, including but not limited to constipation, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction. We utilize evidence-based techniques to develop individualized treatment plans that promote improvement in both function and quality of life.
