At Wendell Foster, we’re proud to host the local Aktion Club, a national service organization sponsored by Kiwanis and designed especially for adults with disabilities. As the only service club of its kind, Aktion Club empowers more than 7,200 members worldwide to make a positive difference in their communities—and we’re thrilled to be part of that mission!
Our members share a passion for helping others and giving back. They’ve built beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, volunteered at the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro’s Chili Cookoff, organized food drives for local shelters, rung bells for the Salvation Army, built a book bench for an elementary school, and hosted a school supplies giveaway for local teachers—just to name a few projects!
With a heart for service and a spirit of friendship, Aktion Club members inspire positive change in their community every day.
