Community Companions
Community Companions empower individuals with developmental disabilities through evening or weekend 45-minute visits, one or two times per week to broaden common interests through conversation and participation in shared interests/hobbies to develop long-term friendships and camaraderie.
We have several individuals who are seeking to share their interests and hobbies with you!
What interests do you have in common with them?
Autism Program
Volunteer in the Autism Department’s After School, Summer, and/or Teen & Young Adult and Parent Night Out Programs. Gain knowledge and experience volunteering with those who have Autism. Do crafts, facilitate learning, go on outings in the community, and supervise students from ages 5 and up. The program is based on social learning and appropriate play and behavior skills. Lots of active fun!
