OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY – Wendell Foster, a local agency serving people with disabilities, is hosting its annual golf scramble on Friday, June 14 at Ben Hawes Golf Course in Owensboro, KY.

For the fifth straight year, Wendell Foster is excited to welcome back Old National Bank as the Golf Scramble’s Presenting Sponsor. “Old National is again, honored to serve as Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Wendell Foster Golf Scramble. Not only is this non-profit critical in Owensboro, but throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky. So many families depend on Wendell Foster,” said Wade Jenkins, Old National Bank Market President.

In 2023, the Golf Scramble raised over $50,000 for Wendell Foster, a record-breaking total and a 40% increase in profit from the previous year. The Golf Scramble was a sold out event with 128 golfers participating.

“Our excitement for this event has been building all year! Wendell Foster residents will be keeping players cool by serving up snow cones, as well as, providing a golf equipment cleaning station. Wendell Foster’s Aktion Club, sponsored by Kiwanis, will be offering free bonus putts on hole 18. We deeply appreciate the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and players for their continued dedication to Wendell Foster.” said Kara Howard, Vice President of Development and Community Engagement at Wendell Foster.

Team registration is already sold out and closed for the event. However, there are still ways to be involved and support Wendell Foster. Opportunities still available include prize sponsorships. Businesses or individuals can participate as a prize sponsor for $100. This includes recognition at the prize table.
