Micah Swift, a native of Owensboro, KY, became a speech therapist in May 2023 and joined Wendell Foster in June 2023. Micah has been involved with Wendell Foster since 2016, when she began volunteering. In graduate school, Micah completed two internships at Wendell Foster. Micah is passionate about working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
When asked what she most enjoys most about working at Wendell Foster, Micah says, “I love getting to build relationships with the patients and I enjoy helping them reach their highest potential. Wendell Foster is the reason I went into speech pathology and has had such a positive impact on my life. I feel so thankful to be part of the speech therapy team and to begin my career in a place I love.”
