Wendell Foster Holiday Bourbon Raffle Returns

OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY – Wendell Foster, a local non-profit agency serving people with disabilities, has launched their annual Holiday Bourbon Raffle. The raffle is returning for its second year and features eight exclusive bourbon collections, an increase in prizes from the previous year. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Wendell Foster, which serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year in Western Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and beyond. The organization provided over 75,000 services in 2022 through residential, rehabilitative, and community-based programming. Last year’s Holiday Bourbon Raffle raised over $26,000 for the non-profit.

The raffle’s grand prize features the Old Forester 150th Anniversary Collection, which includes Batch 01/03 (125.6 proof), Batch 02/03 (126.4 proof), Batch 03/03 (126.8 proof), and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Reserve 150. The second prize is the Weller Collection, which includes Weller Special Reserve, Weller Antique 107, Weller 12 Year, Weller Full Proof, Weller CYPB, and Weller Single Barrel. The third prize is the Maker’s Mark Kentucky Wildcats Series, which includes 5 commemorative bottles of Maker’s Mark in honor of the University of Kentucky Wildcats. The fourth prize is the Buffalo Trace Collection, which includes Eagle Rare, Blanton’s Original Single Barrel (750ml), Elmer T. Lee, Stagg, and Sazerac Rye. The fifth prize is the Elijah Craig Collection, which includes Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, Elijah Craig Straight Rye, Elijah Craig Small Batch, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. The sixth prize is the EH Taylor Set, which includes EH Taylor Small Batch, EH Taylor Single Barrel, EH Taylor Straight Rye. The seventh prize is the Maker’s Mark Christmas Trio, which includes 3 limited-edition bottles of Christmas-themed Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whiskey. The eighth and final prize is the Whistle Pig Bundle, which includes Whistle Pig Small Batch Rye, aged 10 years, and Whistle Pig Old World Rye, aged 12 years.

Tickets are $75 each, with each ticket being a separate and equal chance to win one of the eight prizes. Tickets will be on sale until Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:59 pm CST. The raffle drawing will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 12:00 pm CST in the Elmer Administration Building on Wendell Foster’s campus, and will stream live on Wendell Foster’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WendellFosterDifferenceMaker).
